Mobile Number Portability
Like all other subscribers and users of mobile services in the country, the FROG users can port to another network too, in order to use mobile services of another mobile operator, without having to change their FROG number.
What you need to do
In order to port out your FROG number to another mobile operator and start using its services it is necessary to have a porting certificate. Such certificate is issued in a shop from GLOBUL retail network. A certificate is issued upon the following procedure:
- It is necessary to let GLOBUL know that you want to use the services of another mobile operator. When you are applying for mobile number portability, GLOBUL will check if your card has been active for 3 months since activation. If your card has not been active for 3 months, you can port out your number only if you have recharged your card for minimum 10 BGN during the period the card has been in use.
- Upon filing the application there will be also a CLI check in order to make sure that you are the actual user of the number that you wish to port out. For the CLI check you may be asked by the sales person to dial a number.
- At the moment of filing the application you will have to pay a consumer fee of 5 BGN for each number that you wish to port out.
- Within 2 days after the application has been filed and the consumer fee paid, your present operator will issue a port out certificate. The certificate can be either on paper or in SMS format. The certificate is valid within 30 days after it has been issued.
As a FROG customer you are using the mobile network of Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile and in compliance with the General Terms and Conditions the available options for you are to port to the networks of M-Tel or Vivatel.
